Thailand Launches Rooftop Solar Tax Incentives to Boost Clean Energy

Thailand has introduced Royal Decree No.805 (B.E. 2569 / 2026), offering households up to THB 200,000 personal income tax deduction for installing rooftop solar systems. This measure aims to accelerate distributed solar adoption and support Thailand’s clean energy transition.
 
Policy Highlights:
Tax deduction up to THB 200,000 for residential solar installations
Systems must be on-grid
Effective from 3 March 2026 to 31 December 2028
