ASEAN Strengthens Green Investment Cooperation to Advance Clean Energy Development

ASEAN is strengthening regional cooperation to attract international green investment and promote sustainable industrial development. With support from ESCAP, nine ASEAN investment promotion agencies jointly showcased regional investment opportunities, focusing on areas such as biofuels, biomass energy, and sustainable aviation fuel, and facilitated more than 30 investor meetings.

As Southeast Asia accelerates its green transition, growing energy demand and cross-border cooperation are creating new opportunities for the clean energy industry, including solar PV, energy storage, and smart energy solutions.

ASEE 2027 ASEAN Smart Energy & Energy Storage Expo will take place from March 17–19, 2027, at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. Covering solar PV, energy storage, smart energy, and related technologies, the expo aims to connect global businesses with energy industry stakeholders and potential partners across Southeast Asia.
