Berde Renewables Expands in Thailand with 30 MW University Solar Project

Philippine renewable energy company Berde Renewables, Inc., through joint venture Berde PSS, has successfully secured a 30 MW university solar project in Thailand, becoming one of Southeast Asia’s largest university-linked renewable energy installations.
 
 
Highlights:
• Dual-format solar – 20 MW floating + 10 MW ground-mounted, showcasing advanced system deployment
• Rapid Thailand expansion – entered in 2023 via 20 MW rooftop acquisition, now nearly 50 MW of assets
• Institutional partnerships – distributed energy model scaled to universities and large institutions
• ASEAN strategic footprint – Thailand is Berde’s second key market after the Philippines, with 50–200 MW utility-scale projects under local operations, engineering, and asset management
