Singapore-based DayOne Data Centers has officially announced the signing of a land expansion MoU with Amata Corporation, along with a renewable energy Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with AMBRE (Amata B.Grimm Renewable Energy). These agreements will jointly accelerate the expansion of CTP1 and the development of CTP2 in the Chonburi Technology Park, marking a crucial step toward building Thailand’s first 1GW data center power platform.

- 1GW Digital Infrastructure Platform Taking Shape:
The expansion of CTP1 combined with the future development of CTP2 will create Thailand’s first unified 1GW data center power hub, making it one of Southeast Asia’s largest standalone digital infrastructure campuses.
- Floating Solar + Green Power PPA:
AMBRE will supply renewable energy through a 22kV floating solar system with an initial capacity of 42.5MWp. Expected to be operational in 2027, the project will support DayOne’s progressive decarbonization of data center operations.
- AI & Cloud Demand Surge:
Since entering Thailand in 2024, DayOne has scaled rapidly—driven by the explosive regional demand for AI training workloads, cloud expansion, and high-density compute infrastructure.
- Strategic Location in the EEC:
Chonburi, located within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), benefits from strong industrial ecosystems, connectivity, and supportive investment policies—continuing to attract global technology players.

- แพลตฟอร์มโครงสร้างพื้นฐานดิจิทัล 1GW กำลังก่อตัว:
การขยาย CTP1 ร่วมกับการพัฒนา CTP2 ในอนาคต จะสร้างศูนย์กลางพลังงานศูนย์ข้อมูลขนาด 1GW แห่งแรกของไทย และกลายเป็นหนึ่งในแคมปัสโครงสร้างพื้นฐานดิจิทัลที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้
- โซลาร์ลอยน้ำ + สัญญาซื้อขายไฟฟ้าพลังงานหมุนเวียน (PPA):
AMBRE จะจัดหาพลังงานสะอาดผ่านระบบโซลาร์ลอยน้ำ 22kV กำลังการผลิตเริ่มต้น 42.5MWp โดยคาดว่าจะเปิดดำเนินการเชิงพาณิชย์ในปี 2027 สนับสนุนเป้าหมายการลดคาร์บอนของศูนย์ข้อมูล DayOne
- ความต้องการด้าน AI และคลาวด์เติบโตอย่างรวดเร็ว:
ตั้งแต่ DayOne เข้าสู่ประเทศไทยในปี 2024 บริษัทได้ขยายตัวอย่างรวดเร็วจากความต้องการที่เพิ่มขึ้นของ งานประมวลผล AI, การขยายระบบคลาวด์ และโครงสร้างพื้นฐานคอมพิวต์ความหนาแน่นสูง
