In October, DHL Supply Chain opened its first sustainable logistics center in Thailand, fully powered by on-site solar systems, featuring a 4.2 MWp solar array, 10 MWh battery storage, and smart energy management systems. The USD 43 million investment highlights Thailand’s role as a regional hub for green logistics and smart energy solutions.
“Thailand stands out due to its robust renewable energy policies,” said Hendrik Venter, CEO of DHL Supply Chain. Amid global geopolitical volatility, Thailand is emerging as a key ASEAN logistics and new energy hub, supporting diversified inventories and resilient supply chains.
