About AEPC / KFW – Solar Energy Project:
The project is supported by the Governments of Nepal and Germany (through KFW) and focuses on climate-resilient and low-carbon development. It implements rooftop solar, solar mini-grids, and solar irrigation pumping systems, while supporting policy formulation, technical standards, and stakeholder collaboration across local, provincial, and federal government levels.
About Santosh Rai:
With over 20 years of professional experience in renewable energy, energy efficiency, public policy, and resource management, Santosh leads a team of national and international experts from Tractebel Engineering GmbH, Germany. His expertise spans community-managed energy projects, ESCO/RESCO models, PPP project implementation, climate finance, environmental & social safeguards, and capacity building. Santosh has extensive experience coordinating development partners, government stakeholders, and private sector actors to drive sustainable energy solutions in Nepal and beyond.
